Legend has it that “La Luisa”, the most energy-filled of the three hand-made “Aunts” by Jimmy D Lanza, once danced for 5 consecutive hours at a Mazurka contest at the Balera dell’Ortica. At the end of which, she ordered a double Gin Fitz, smoked a pack of Merit, and went home whistling in her usual leopard fur and fiery red Fedora.
